The Athletic correspondent David Ornstein has revealed that Arsenal's head of football Raul Sanllehi is reportedly in advanced discussions with Paris Saint-Germain over a mid-season deal for Layvin Kurzawa.
The Gunners are short in the left-back department with the long-term injury for Kieran Tierney while Sead Kolasinac continues to struggles with regular niggles.
As a result, Bukayo Saka has been deployed in a makeshift role in a number of games over the past few months and the Gunners appear keen on addressing the issue in the transfer market.
According to Ornstein, Sanllehi is in advanced talks with Les Parisiens over Kurzawa and the club are looking to sign him on a free with just six months remaining on his existing deal.
It is unclear whether the Ligue 1 holders will consider offloading their defender without a fee but reports have claimed that the former Monaco man is keen to make the switch to the Premier League this month.
