Reports are emanating from Spain that Barcelona are close to agreeing a move for Sevilla's Brazilian right back Daniel Alves for a fee reported to be around £20 million.
Barcelona have already revealed that Lilian Thuram and Gianluca Zambrotta are set to leave the club this summer.
Chelsea had been close to agreeing a permanent move for Dani Alves last summer, but the move failed to materialise as Sevilla refused to let the Brazilian leave.
Liverpool were also reportedly tracking Alves, but Rafa Benitez has shunned an approach for the Brazilian as he deems £20 million out of his price range.
Barcelona boss Frank Rijkaard is fast looking to change his side for next season after stumbling behind in La Liga this season; now in third behind Real Madrid and Villarreal.
