Sunderland have completed the signing of Paul McShane for a fee that could be worth £2.5m from West Brom. The former Man Utd defender has brought in after Sunderland were disappointed to miss out on their main defensive target, Leighton Baines.
Manager Roy Keane has already brought in many players this summer including Kieran Richardson and Michael Chopra; and as Sunderland look to build a squad capable of competing in the Premiership, McShane looks a useful signing.
