McShane joins Black Cats

Sunderland have completed the signing of Paul McShane for a fee that could be worth £2.5m from West Brom. The former Man Utd defender has brought in after Sunderland were disappointed to miss out on their main defensive target, Leighton Baines.

  • Manager Roy Keane has already brought in many players this summer including Kieran Richardson and Michael Chopra; and as Sunderland look to build a squad capable of competing in the Premiership, McShane looks a useful signing.
