Brazil international Willian has said that he is content with his stay at Chelsea after successfully passing the British Citizenship test on the third attempt.
The winger has been with the Blues for more than six-and-a-half seasons but there are doubts regarding his future with his contract expiring this summer.
The signing of Hakim Ziyech has definitely raised concerns regarding his future but Willian insists that he is pleased with his position with the Blues.
"I have played for Chelsea for more than six years now, and I can honestly say that I am very happy here,” he wrote in a column in The Player's Tribune.
Willian is eyeing a fresh three-year deal with the Blues and the board have yet to initiate talks over the possibility of a renewal beyond the summer.
The Brazilian holds a strong relationship with ex-boss Jose Mourinho, who is currently at Tottenham Hotspur and there are reports suggesting that they could be reunited at the north London side this summer.
Willian has been linked with a free transfer move to Barcelona but he may be tempted to remain in the Premier League where he has enjoyed most of the high points in his career.
