Aston Villa midfielder Jack Grealish is reportedly not the prime target for Everton during the next transfer window.
The 24-year-old has been impressive for the Villains since their top-flight return and he has bagged nine goals and six assists across all competitions this term.
A recent report from Football Insider claimed that the Toffees could prioritise the signing of Grealish, who is also attracting interest from Manchester United.
However, Sky Sports News has refuted those claims and it is suggested that Carlo Ancelotti will look to sign a new centre-back and right-winger before considering any move for Grealish.
Lille's Gabriel is reportedly the leading target to bolster the heart of the Toffees defence but the club are likely to face stiff competition from London giants Chelsea.
Elsewhere, the Merseyside outfit are eyeing a deal for Everton Soares from Gremio. The Brazil international currently has a £70m release clause on his contract and it is unclear whether the Toffees can negotiate a lesser fee.
