Manchester United set price tag for Paul Pogba

Manchester United are reportedly prepared to accept a fee of around £70m in order to part ways with Paul Pogba during the next transfer window.

  • Arsenal to swap Gabriel Jesus for Inter Milan star?
  • Arsenal leading race to sign Belgian midfielder

  • Pogba has been heavily linked with the likes of Real Madrid and Juventus in recent months but it has been suggested that the Red Devils' £100m price tag could put them off from making an approach.

According to The Star, the club have now decided to lower their asking price to around £70m and that has apparently attracted interest from Serie A giants Inter Milan.

Antonio Conte is said to be eyeing a marquee signing in the club's midfield ahead of next season but any move may be dependent on the side being able to recoup the fee from player sales.

Meanwhile, Pogba's current contract expires at the end of next season and United have yet to take advantage of a 12-month extension clause.

The World Cup-winning midfielder has spent most of the season on the sidelines with an ankle injury and has made only seven league appearances.
