Nolberto Solano has joined West Ham from Newcastle. The Peruvian midfielder had been chased by West Ham all summer, and the Hammers have been looking for additions to their squad after the injury to Fredrik Ljungberg.

Solano had been looking for a move closer to London, after most of his family had relocated there.



Despite Solano only just recently signing a one year extension to his contract, it appears that Newcastle have decided to let the player leave.
