Juventus'Â Chief Football Officer Fabio Paratici has suggested that his team may not be in the running to sign Paul Pogba from Manchester United this summer.
Pogba spent four seasons with the Bianconeri between 2012 and 2016 where he built his reputation as an elite footballer. He has since returned to the Red Devils, where he has experienced a mixed set of fortunes.
The Frenchman is said to be eyeing an exit from Old Trafford at the end of the season and the Bianconeri have been mentioned as one of the sides, who could sign him alongside Real Madrid and Paris Saint-Germain.
However, Paratici has appeared to dismiss the club's prospects of re-signing the midfielder by stating that the Frenchman's wage demands could put them off from making an offer.
"Pogba is a great player, but logically the salary demands someone of his level would've had before is now more difficult to get hold of, or at least he'll have fewer clubs prepared to pay that money." He told Sky Sport Italia.
Pogba is currently on a £290,000-a-week salary at United but he is likely to demand a contract of around £400,000-a-week when he makes the move away from the Red Devils. Los Blancos are favourites to sign him at the moment.
