Everton have reportedly made contact with the agent of Adrien Rabiot as they seek to lure him from Juventus during this summer's transfer window.
The Frenchman made the move to the Bianconeri on a free transfer from Paris Saint-Germain last summer but he has since struggled with just 11 starts in the Serie A.
Of late, he has become frustrated with the Bianconeri's decision to reduce his wages because of the coronavirus pandemic and Gazzetta dello Sport claims that his agent and mother Veronique has been in talks with the Toffees.
The Merseyside outfit are looking to rebuild the squad under manager Carlo Ancelotti this term and they are aiming to sign at least one central midfielder as part of the summer spending spree.
Rabiot is said to be valued at around £26m but the Toffees are likely to make the attempt to sign him on a temporary deal with the option to buy at the end of the campaign.
