Chelsea are set to miss out on the signing of Miralem Pjanic from Juventus with the midfielder determined to join Barcelona at the end of the season.
The Bosnian is free to leave the Bianconeri during the next transfer window and it was suggested that the Blues could be open to signing him in a part-exchange deal involving Jorginho.
However, that appears unlikely to happen as Pjanic is said to be desperate to make the move to the Spanish champions when the transfer window reopens in the coming months.
Aside from the Blues, Paris Saint-Germain have expressed an interest in signing the former Roma man but it is suggested that Pjanic won't change his stance regardless of the salary package on the table.
Juventus are currently in discussions with the Blaugrana over the possible signing of Nelson Semedo and there could be a possibility of a swap deal with the Bosnian heading in the opposite direction.
