Bayer Leverkusen attacker Kai Havertz is prepared to snub advances from Manchester United and Bayern Munich to join Chelsea this summer.
The German has experienced a superb season with 18 goals and eight assists in all competitions and he may still have a key role to play in the club's Europa League campaign next month.
Over the past few weeks, a number of clubs have been credited with an interest in the versatile forward but German outlet Kicker claims that he has made his mind up to join the Blues.
It is added that he has informed his desire to Leverkusen and it remains to be seen whether the west London giants are willing to meet the asking price set by the Bundesliga outfit.
Leverkusen are said to demand around £90m for their graduate and they are willing to accept a small part of the sum in the form of performance-based add-ons.
Chelsea have yet to hold any formal talks with Leverkusen.
