Kepa Arrizabalaga believes his Chelsea career is over

Kepa Arrizabalaga believes he may have played his final game for Chelsea after being dropped by manager Frank Lampard earlier this month.

  • Omari Hutchinson wants to continue at Ipswich Town

  • The Spaniard has experienced an average season in goal, and he has been heavily criticised by some fans for possessing the lowest save percentage among Premier League shot-stoppers.

Earlier this year, Lampard chose to drop him for six games on the bounce before he retained his position. However, he was axed from his role once more last weekend after a poor display at Liverpool.

Willy Caballero put up a good performance in the 2-0 win over Wolverhampton Wanderers and he is expected to keep his place for the FA Cup final against Arsenal on Saturday.

According to The Sun, Arrizabalaga feels he may never play another game for the Blues and could be heading for the exit door when their campaign concludes next month.

The west London side bought him for a club-record £72m fee from Athletic Bilbao in 2018, but they are willing to accept offers of around £50m for his sale this summer.

Valencia are leading the race to sign him, but they may propose a season-long loan agreement with the option to buy. Sevilla have also been linked with the Spaniard's services.
