Lille defender Gabriel Magalhaes is expected to make a final call on his future in the next few days amid the concrete interest from Arsenal and Manchester United.
The Brazilian had an impressive 2019/2020 campaign with the Ligue 1 side and he ended up making 34 appearances for the club across all competitions before their season was curtailed.
According to L'Equipe, the Gunners and Red Devils are the main contenders to sign Gabriel this summer and the centre-back will choose his next club before the end of the week.
Gabriel was touted to join Everton earlier in the year, but they were reluctant to meet the £27m price tag. The likes of Arsenal and United have since leapfrogged them in the player's pursuit and they will have to pay a similar fee for his transfer.
Napoli have also been credited with an interest in the central defender, but reports claim that a late approach would be dependent on the sale of Kalidou Koulibaly which seems unlikely at present.
