Manchester United considering move for ex-Spurs playmaker

United to make January move for Eriksen?

Manchester United considering move for ex-Spurs playmaker

20 October 2020 - 20:28

Manchester United are planning to revive their interest in Christian Eriksen, who formerly played for Tottenham Hotspur.

  • Chelsea suffer big injury blow ahead of Everton game
  • Enzo Fernandez refuses to rule out Chelsea exit
  • The Dane bagged 69 goals and 89 assists in over 300 appearances for Spurs before he joined Inter Milan in January this year.

He has since struggled for regular playing time and has been restricted to only nine Serie A starts under manager Antonio Conte.

As a result, he has already voiced his concern over the situation and Todofichajes claims that United could attempt to sign him this winter.

The Nerazzurri are open to parting ways with the playmaker, provided they are able to recoup the entire £18.3m paid to Spurs earlier this year.

United are obviously long-term admirers of Eriksen, but they are likely to face direct competition from Paris Saint-Germain for his services.

Eriksen has registered four goals and three assists from 29 outings for Inter to date. He was linked with a possible return to Spurs this summer.
