Arsenal manager Mikel Arteta has said that David Luiz is a big doubt to face Manchester United in the Premier League on Sunday.
The Brazilian had an impressive first half against Leicester City last weekend, but was substituted early in the second half with a thigh problem.
In his absence, the Gunners suffered a third defeat in four Premier League games and they could be without him this weekend.
Speaking in a press conference, Arteta confirmed that Luiz won't play any part against Dundalk in the Europa League on Thursday night.
He added that the experienced centre-back remains a major doubt to face the Red Devils on the road in Sunday's late kick-off.
"There is no chance he will play against Dundalk. There is a big doubt for him to play at the weekend too," He told via Arsenal's official website.
Arsenal are currently lying 11th on the table after six games with nine points, four adrift of surprise leaders Everton.
