Chelsea manager Frank Lampard has revealed that Thiago Silva is fully fit for the weekend's Premier League clash against Burnley
The Blues ended a three-match winless streak on Wednesday night as they picked up a comfortable 4-0 win over Krasnodar in the Champions League.
Shortly after their return from Russia, Lampard was asked about the absence of Silva and the Blues boss reaffirmed that he was just rested.
"Thiago is fit. Taking him out of the trip to Russia was more of a maintenance issue for him and I spoke to him about it," He told via Chelseafc.com.
Silva has been ever-present for the Blues in the Premier League since his debut against West Bromwich Albion, where he made an error leading to a goal.
The 36-year-old centre-back will be disappointed with his omission for the midweek Champions League outing, but can be expected to start at Turf Moor.
Chelsea are presently languishing in 10th on the Premier League table with nine points, four adrift of surprise league leaders Everton.
