Chelsea manager Frank Lampard has revealed that Christian Pulisic won't be fit for tomorrow's Premier League clash against Sheffield United.
The USA international suffered a hamstring injury during the warm-up against Burnley last weekend and subsequently missed the midweek Champions League game against Rennes.
Lampard had previously suggested that the injury was only a minor one and he could return to action at the weekend. However, he has now revealed that Pulisic has not returned to training itself and won't play against the Blades.
"He is not fit to play. He is still suffering with his hamstring and he is not training. In midweek he was training at a low level but was not comfortable so we have to keep looking for the right solution," He told.
Aside from Pulisic, Billy Gilmour remains the only absentee as he continues to step up his fitness after a serious knee injury. Kepa Arrizabalaga has been out of recent games with a shoulder trouble, but he is back in contention.
Chelsea are presently sixth in the Premier League standings with 12 points.
