Netherlands midfielder Georginio Wijnaldum has refused to provide an update on his contract situation at Liverpool.
The 29-year-old's current deal is due to expire at the end of the season and so far, he has yet to commit to a new contract.
There has been speculation that the Reds are not prepared to meet his wage demands, but Wijnaldum has remained coy over the situation.
He told Dutch news outlet Het Parool: "I can't say anything about that. Just ask Liverpool those questions. Don't they answer? "
"I cannot say anything about it, including whether or not there is talk of a new contract between me and Liverpool. Sorry."
Wijnaldum has been with the Reds since 2016 and he has played a key part in the club winning the Champions League and Premier League.
He has previously hinted that he would be open to signing a fresh contract, but so far, there has been no progress over the same.
Barcelona are keeping tabs on his situation with manager Ronald Koeman said to be keen on a reunion. Koeman was previously the Netherlands boss.
