Queiroz slaps £95m tag on Ronaldo

Manchester United assistant boss Carlos Queiroz has warned Real Madrid that they will have to cough up £95 million if they have any chance of landing the Portuguese winger. Ronaldo's stunning displays have helped United edge to a second consecutive Premiership title.

  • "We would not sell him for £95 million," Queiroz told Marca. "You can offer all the money in the world, but there is no amount that can buy him."

Cristiano Ronaldo is a long term target for Real Madrid; and the club are keen to sign the Portuguese player in order to improve their chances of retaining the Primera Liga title next season.

However, Sir Alex Ferguson is unlikely to let Ronaldo leave unless a ridiculous offer is made for the player.
