Chelsea manager Frank Lampard has confirmed that Callum Hudson-Odoi has suffered a hamstring injury in the lead-up to the Champions League clash against Krasnodar.
The Blues recently suffered an injury setback with Hakim Ziyech sustaining a hamstring injury against Leeds United and Lampard has now revealed that Hudson-Odoi has joined the treatment room with a similar problem.
"Hakim's going for a scan this afternoon, so we'll have more information tomorrow. He's out and Callum Hudson-Odoi's out too, with a hamstring problem picked up in training yesterday as well," He told via Chelseafc.com.
In the absence of the duo, Christian Pulisic is likely to benefit with a regular run from the starting lineup after overcoming a muscular problem of his own last month.
Pulisic has registered 13 goals and 10 assists from just 42 appearances for the Blues, but he has struggled to find the consistency owing to the untimely setbacks. He will be hoping to stay unscathed for the rest of the season.
