Predicted Manchester United lineup (4-2-3-1) vs Wolves, Cavani and Greenwood start

29 December 2020 - 18:29

Manchester United will be aiming to return to winning ways when they welcome Wolverhampton Wanderers at Old Trafford tonight.

  • Chelsea ready to sell four home-grown players
  • Predicted Chelsea line-up (4-2-3-1) vs Aston Villa, Palmer starts

  • The Red Devils are currently placed fourth on the Premier League table with 27 points and they can go second in the standings with a victory.

    Formation: 4-2-3-1

    Predicted Lineup:

David de Gea has been the regular choice between the sticks when fit. The Spaniard is expected to start in goal against Wolves tonight.

Aaron Wan-Bissaka should return in the right-back role after overcoming a knock, which has seen him miss the past two games.

At the heart of the defence, Eric Bailly should continue to partner Harry Maguire with Victor Lindelof still nursing a back problem.

At left-back, there could be a straight swap with Alex Telles replacing Luke Shaw.

In the midfield, Scott McTominay and Fred have been the regular combination this term.

Ole Gunnar Solskjaer may want to rotate his options and Paul Pogba could come in for McTominay.

In the attack, we are predicting a couple of changes. Mason Greenwood is likely to replace Daniel James on the right wing.

Upfront, Edinson Cavani could replace Anthony Martial. The Uruguayan came off the bench and grabbed an assist last weekend.

Predicted Manchester United lineup: David de Gea; Aaron Wan-Bissaka, Eric Bailly, Harry Maguire, Alex Telles; Fred, Paul Pogba; Mason Greenwood, Bruno Fernandes, Marcus Rashford; Edinson Cavani
