Redknapp begins court action

16 April 2008 - 14:29

Harry Redknapp and wife Sandra have asked the Administrative Court of the High Courts of Justice in London to review the police's right to raid their home in the early hours of the morning with regard to an inquiry into corruption in football.

  • Chelsea ready to sell four home-grown players
  • Predicted Chelsea line-up (4-2-3-1) vs Aston Villa, Palmer starts

  • "I was particularly disappointed that police should come knocking at my door at 6:30 a.m. with photographers from a well-known tabloid newspaper,'' Redknapp said at the time. "I'm bitterly disappointed. Me and my family were deeply hurt by the whole situation."

Nine people are on bail with regard to the alleged corruption - and Birmingham City directors Karren Brady and David Gold were arrested recently.
