Manchester United and Chelsea will need to pay at least £300,000-a-week to Erling Haaland, should they manage to reach a transfer agreement with Borussia Dortmund.
The Norwegian has been in stellar form for the German outfit this term and he has amassed 27 goals from only 25 appearances across all competitions.
His current deal with Dortmund has a release clause worth £68m but that does not become active until the end of the 2020/21 campaign.
According to The Star, Dortmund are likely to consider his sale this summer with the opportunity to command a bigger transfer fee.
It has been claimed that they could command as much as £100m with Chelsea and United among the clubs interested in signing the marksman.
Still, a deal won't be straightforward with Haaland set to demand £300,000-a-week in basic wages alone to join a new club this summer.
Haaland is also on the radar of Real Madrid and Barcelona and he has plenty of options to consider when the campaign concludes.
