Germany and Chelsea midfielder Michael Ballack believes his side have the edge in the Champions League semi-final against Liverpool in midweek.
"It is very exciting to be in the semi-final again and we're looking forward to these games," he said.
"They knocked us out twice before and now we want to change that. We have the second leg at home this time which makes it a little bit different from last year and could tip things in our favour.
"Liverpool are a strong team and they are very focused on the Champions League. It wouldn't surprise me if they rested players before the game like they did last year. But we hope it will be our year this time.
"Fenerbahce were a dangerous team with a lot of good players so we knew it would not be an easy game. But it doesn't matter who we play against, we want to win and want to be in the final of the Champions League."
