Chelsea defender Marc Guehi is set to make the permanent move to Crystal Palace, The Athletic reports.
The 21-year-old was hugely impressive during his season-long loan at Swansea City last season.
His performances caught the eye of several clubs including Southampton, West Ham United and Brentford.
The Eagles have now won the race to sign him after negotiating a straight-cash deal worth £20 million.
The centre-back has already undergone his medical and a transfer announcement is expected soon.
Guehi had the option to sign a new contract with the Blues, but he opted to snub the proposal on the table.
The Blues have sold the defender with a sell-on clause while they have matching rights on any future sale.
Hence, they have the opportunity to re-sign him in the long run if he makes a big impression with Palace.
Guehi is set to become Palace's third signing of the transfer window after Michael Olise and Remi Mathews.
