Bolton midfielder Kevin Nolan has revealed he ranted and raved at half time during the game against Middlesbrough at the Riverside that the Trotters managed a 1-0 victory in. Bolton were shocking throughout and were lucky to get a win.
"With only 10 minutes on the clock, I found myself having to have a right go at my team-mates," Nolan said in The Sun. "I couldn't believe what was happening. I got stuck in with a vengeance; I could tell all of us needed a real shake-up.
"I was ranting and raving in a bid to inject a bit of life into our performance. And, in fairness, it worked in the end because in the second half we came out a completely different side, did the business and deserved the victory."
