Manchester United winger Daniel James has emerged as a potential transfer target for Atalanta BC, according to Tuttomercatoweb.
The 23-year-old struggling for regular minutes in the Premier League last term. He was restricted to just 15 appearances.
With the recent arrival of Jadon Sancho, he could drop further down the pecking order. There has been speculation that he could be sold.

The Serie A outfit have the knack of pursuing quality signings at low costs, and believe James would fit into their plans perfectly.
It is unclear whether United will sanction his exit, particularly with Marcus Rashford out until mid-October after a shoulder surgery.
James is still unlikely to earn regular game time with Anthony Martial, Mason Greenwood, Jesse Lingard and Sancho for competition.
Paul Pogba also played regularly on the left wing during the back end of last season. James has three years remaining on his United contract.
