Arsenal striker Alexandre Lacazette is expected to leave on a free transfer next summer, according to football.london.
The Frenchman was touted to leave the Gunners earlier this summer, but there were no formal offers on the table.
His £180,000-a-week wages were a major stumbling block. He could now see out his Gunners deal that expires in June next year.
According to football.london, the marksman has snubbed the opportunity to sign a possible extension with the Gunners.
That means that he will be free to negotiate a pre-contract with an overseas club when the transfer window reopens in January.
The Gunners will face a financial blow due to this, but they now have time on their hands to land a quality striker to replace him.
They wanted to bring in Tammy Abraham from Chelsea earlier this month, but the Englishman eventually joined AS Roma.
The Serie A outfit signed him for around €40m. The Blues have the opportunity to buy him back for €80m from June 2023.
