Arsenal have been handed a boost in signing Torino striker Andrea Belotti at the end of the campaign.

The Italian has spent the past six years with the Turin outfit, but he is now eyeing a bigger challenge elsewhere.

Belotti has been offered a new deal on record wages by Torino, but he has no plans of extending his stay with them.

According to Corriere dello Sport, the Italian is set to leave the club on a free transfer when his contract expires next summer.

AC Milan and Roma are interested in his services, but the Gunners could have the edge in the pursuit of the 27-year-old.

He can negotiate a pre-contract with an overseas club from January. The Gunners could push to finalise his transfer.

Belotti could come in as a replacement for Alexandre Lacazette, who is expected to leave the Gunners for free next summer.

There has been a complete breakdown in contract talks. Both the club and the player believe the time has come to part ways.
