Real Madrid won't be pursuing Manchester United midfielder Paul Pogba next year, Spanish outlet Marca claims.
The Frenchman has been a long-term target for the La Liga giants, but they are no longer interested in signing him.
Pogba will enter the final six months of his United deal in January, but Los Blancos are unlikely to make an offer.
They are comfortable with the current midfield options, and are focused on keeping Luka Modric for another year.
Instead of pursuing Pogba, their priority remains on bolstering their attack with a Bosman deal for Kylian Mbappe.
Mbappe was their prime target last summer, but they failed to convince Paris Saint-Germain to sanction his departure.
They will return for his services next year, and are in pole position to sign him on a free transfer at the end of the campaign.
Mbappe has rejected a new deal at Paris Saint-Germain. He will leave for nothing when his contract expires next summer.
