Arsenal manager Mikel Arteta has confirmed that Bukayo Saka is doubtful to face Manchester United in the Premier League on Thursday.
The England international picked up a thigh problem against Newcastle United last weekend, and he was substituted in the 64th minute.
Arteta was uncertain over his fitness after the game, and he has now confirmed that the club are playing the waiting game on Saka.
The club graduate is likely to undergo a late fitness test, but he appears a huge doubt to make the starting line-up at Old Trafford.
Gabriel Martinelli scored a stunning volleyed goal coming off the bench against the Magpies. He is likely to replace Saka tomorrow.
Nicolas Pepe is another option for the Gunners to play in the right midfield role, but he has hardly featured under Arteta recently.
The Ivorian has been out-of-favour in recent months. He has played just five minutes of Premier League football in the last five games.
