Fiorentina are prepared to hold fresh talks with Arsenal over a permanent deal for Lucas Torreira.
The Uruguayan was loaned out to the Serie A outfit in the summer after being deemed surplus to requirements.
The club have the option to buy him for €15m, but they are looking for a possible discount on the price.
According to Tuttosport, the Florence outfit are likely to hold talks at the end of January to lower the fee.
It is unclear whether the Gunners will entertain the proposal, considering Torreira's success at the club.
The 25-year-old has been almost ever-present for Fiorentina, who are vying for European football next term.
Similar to Torreira, Matteo Guendouzi has also enjoyed a superb loan stint with Marseille in the French Ligue 1.
The midfielder has no future with the Gunners. Marseille have the obligation to buy him for €10m next summer.
Guendouzi has registered two goals and seven assists from 26 appearances in all competitions for Les Phoceens.
