Manchester United have no plans of signing RB Leipzig midfielder Amadou Haidara according to SportBild.
The Red Devils have been linked with numerous midfielders this month. It has been claimed that Haidara is the prime target.
However, it appears they are unlikely to pursue his services. The club won't meet the wish of interim boss Ralf Rangnick.
Rangnick is keen on bolstering the midfield department with Haidara, who is accustomed to his high pressing style of football.
However, the hierarchy are reluctant to back the German tactician, considering he won't be the head coach beyond the summer.
Rangnick will take up a consultancy role from June, and the next permanent manager may have a different philosophy.
Hence, he may want signings of his own. This is reportedly a reason behind the club's lack of transfer business this month.
The club's chiefs are willing to wait until the summer for a rebuild rather than trusting Rangnick, who is a temporary appointment.
