Liverpool are not planning to hold negotiations with Roberto Firmino regarding his future, Sky Germany claims.
The Brazilian has entered the final 18 months of his contract, a similar situation to Sadio Mane and Mohamed Salah.
Talks are underway to extend Salah's stay, but the hierarchy don't have a similar stance on Firmino at the moment.
Firmino has suffered with injuries this term, but he has still contributed seven goals and four assists from just 18 matches.
He is open to penning an extension with a salary hike, but the Reds are not planning to negotiate with him as of now.
It is suggested that they may delay a decision until the summer, and there could be a possibility that he could be sold.
The Merseyside giants are looking for a marquee striker, and they have been linked with Erling Braut Haaland in the past.
Firmino has been an excellent contributor over the years, but the club could be looking for a better goalscoring threat up front.
