Arsenal could reportedly make an approach for Everton striker Dominic Calvert-Lewin following their failure to sign Dusan Vlahovic.
The Serbian was their prime striker target this month, but he has opted to snub them for a potential move to Juventus.
Hence, the Gunners are looking at other alternatives, and The Athletic claims that Calvert-Lewin is being considered.
The 24-year-old was in superb form for the Toffees last season, bagging 21 goals from 39 appearances in all competitions.
He started the current campaign in splendid fashion with three goals in three games before suffering a serious toe injury.
The striker has not scored since his return this month, but he continues to be regarded highly by the north London giants.
The Toffees are reluctant to lose him midway through the campaign, but the Gunners could make a significant bid for his services.
He was reportedly valued at around £60m last summer, and an offer around that figure could seriously test the Toffees' resolve.
