Manchester United are reportedly on the cusp of finalising a new contract for Bruno Fernandes.
The Portuguese has been a revelation for the Red Devils since arriving from Sporting Lisbon two years ago.
He has already registered over 80 goal contributions, and is regarded as a key part of the club\'s future plans.
According to Fabrizio Romano, the board are now in the process of finalising an improved deal for him.
Fernandes has no issues over a renewal, and it appears only a matter of time before it is formally done.
Aside from Fernandes, the club are also planning to extend the deals of Luke Shaw and Marcus Rashford.
Both players have struggled for form this season, but the hierarchy believe they can redeem themselves.
Elsewhere, Jesse Lingard, Juan Mata and Edinson Cavani are expected to walk out on free transfers.
The trio have their deals expiring on June 30, and the board have no plans of negotiating with any of them.
