Arsenal have reportedly renewed their interest in signing Inter Milan striker Lautaro Martinez.
The Gunners were keen on landing the Argentine last summer, but could not afford him after a massive £150m spending spree.
According to The Times, they are prepared to try again this year, but a move will depend on Champions League qualification.
Martinez put pen-to-paper on a new contract earlier this season, but it is claimed that Inter are willing to sell him for £60-70m.
The Gunners should be able to afford the package, but their chances are dependent on a top-four Premier League finish.
The club are currently two points ahead of fifth-placed Tottenham Hotspur, but have work to do with four league games remaining.
Mikel Arteta is said to be eyeing more than one striker. The Gunners have also been heavily linked with Manchester City's Gabriel Jesus.
Jesus will enter the final year of his Cityzens deal this summer. It is reported that he could be available for a knockdown fee of £30m.
