The Blaugrana have a keen interest in signing Lewandowski, but a deal could prove difficult due to his wage demands and transfer fees involved.

As a result, the Catalan giants are looking at potential alternatives, and Sport claim that Lukaku is one of the players under consideration.

The Belgian had a dismal homecoming season with Chelsea last term registering just 15 goals. He is now eyeing a summer exit.

A return to Inter Milan seems the priority, but the Nerazzurri could ignore him as they prefer to sign Paulo Dybala on a free transfer.

Barcelona could look to take advantage by proposing a loan deal for Lukaku. They may need to include an option to buy to convince the Blues.

Still, the Belgian may not come on the cheap. There are suggestions that the Blues could demand a loan fee of around €20m for the Belgian.
