Chelsea manager Thomas Tuchel is in constant contact with the representatives of Raheem Sterling over a summer move.
The Manchester City star has emerged as one of the Blues\' top targets. The club have already failed with an opening transfer bid.
A proposal of £21m plus add-ons was rejected, and it is claimed that City are eyeing at least £45m to consider his departure.
Amidst this, TalkSPORT understands that Tuchel has been in a regular dialogue with Sterling\'s agent to convince him.
The England international has just 12 months remaining on his contract with City, and has yet to agree a possible renewal.
City recently sanctioned Gabriel Jesus\' move to Arsenal, and are more than willing to part ways with Sterling this summer.
It remains to be seen whether the west London giants can meet the price tag as well as convince the player over a transfer.
Sterling was previously keen on joining Barcelona, but the Catalan giants are no longer in a strong financial position to afford him.
