The agent of Lucas Torreira has revealed that the midfielder has a pre-agreement with Valencia over a summer move.
The Uruguay international spent last season on loan with Fiorentina where he registered five goals and two assists from 35 appearances.
The Serie A side had the opportunity to sign him permanently, but decided against doing so at the end of the campaign.
Hence, Torreira is back with the Gunners for pre-season, but may not be with the club for much longer with Valencia's interest.
Torreira's agent Pablo Bentancur said: "We have a pre-agreement with Valencia. Today we will speak with Arsenal."
Arsenal were looking for around €13m from Fiorentina for Torreira's sale, and they could hold out for a similar figure.
Valencia are currently rebuilding their squad under Gennaro Gattuso and Torreira is considered as a perfect fit for his playing style.
Torreira has travelled with the Gunners to the United States, but is likely to return to Europe once the clubs agree on a deal.
