Chelsea manager Thomas Tuchel has blocked Timo Werner from leaving the club during the ongoing transfer window.
The Blues have bolstered their attack this summer with the purchase of Raheem Sterling from Manchester City.
Sterling is expected to command a regular starting role next term, and he could line up with Mason Mount and Kai Havertz in attack.
This has led to suggestions that Werner could push for a summer exit, but Kicker claim that Tuchel has blocked his departure.
The Blues have signed just one forward player this summer, and do not plan to make more additions to the frontline before the deadline.
Hence, Tuchel wants to keep his options intact. Hakim Ziyech and Michy Batshuayi could be the only players leaving the club.
Batshuayi could depart on loan or a permanent deal. Ziyech is currently the subject of strong interest from Serie A champions AC Milan.
Milan prefer to land him on loan with an option to buy next summer.
