Manchester United manager Erik ten Hag is reportedly keen on signing Chelsea attacker Hakim Ziyech.
The Red Devils were initially interested in signing Antony to bolster their wide attacking department, but that appears improbable now.
Ajax are demanding a hefty fee of £84 million to sell him, and United could wait until next summer to make a serious transfer offer.
Until then, the club need a short-term solution. Ten Hag is keen on a reunion with Ziyech, having previously worked together at Ajax.
However, the hierarchy are reluctant to back the Dutchman. They don't feel Ziyech would be a good addition to the squad this summer.
The Moroccan joined the Blues from Ajax in 2020 with a big reputation, but he has struggled to find consistency in a 3-4-3 set-up.
He has, however, played better in a 4-2-3-1 formation, and could be an ideal signing for Ten Hag if the board change their position.
Chelsea want at least £20m to part ways with Ziyech this summer.
