Manchester United could make a late attempt to sign Denzel Dumfries from Inter Milan, according to The Times.
The Red Devils are determined to land a new right-back for manager Erik ten Hag and they are looking at multiple options.
Sergino Dest was initially the top target for the Dutchman, but it appears that the 21-year-old has no plans of leaving Barcelona.
Meanwhile, Thomas Meunier has also been linked, but Borussia Dortmund are adamant that he won't be sold before the deadline.
Hence, United seem to have revived their pursuit of Dumfries, who was regularly touted to join the club earlier in the summer.
Ten Hag is well aware of the 26-year-old's qualities from his time in Eredivisie. Dumfries was one of leading stars for PSV.
He made the move to Inter Milan last summer, and has since excelled for them with six goals and seven assists from 47 games.
Despite his exploits, Inter could sell him for £42m due to financial concerns and it remains to be seen whether United pay the fee.
