Chelsea are reportedly planning to swap one of three players to sign AC Milan star Rafael Leao next year.
The Blues were determined to land the Portugal international last summer, but they could not convince the Rossoneri.
The west London giants were willing to offer around £65m for his services, but Milan had no plans of parting ways with them.
However, the scenario could change this winter, considering they have yet to persuade Leao over a new long-term contract.
Leao has already entered the final two years of his deal and the Rossoneri could be better off selling him in the New Year.
According to Calciomercato, Milan currently value Leao at around £87m, but the price could be lowered with a player swap.
Chelsea are willing to offer one of Trevoh Chalobah, Christian Pulisic or Callum Hudson-Odoi is exchange for the forward.
Leao recently struggled in the 3-0 Champions League loss to Chelsea at Stamford Bridge, but the Blues still rate him highly.
