Arsenal manager Mikel Arteta has backed his players to redeem themselves following the 1-0 Premier League loss at Everton.
The north London giants went into the Toffees game as favourites to secure three points but ended up with a shock defeat.
James Tarkowski's headed goal proved to be the match winner but Arteta was not overly disappointed with the result.
Speaking after the loss, Arteta admitted that his players needed to do more to win the game and should have defended better.
He added that he has no criticism towards his players, who have done tremendously well over the course of the season.
He said: "We needed to do more to win the game. Conceding the goal the way we did was disappointing as was how we played in many areas, especially the final third."
"I love them more than before the game and last month. Now we have to be next to them when we have had a defeat."
Despite ths loss, the Gunners remain top of the Premier League standings, five points ahead of holders Manchester City.
