Chelsea are reportedly keen on landing Atalanta defender Giorgio Scalvini during the next transfer window.
The Blues have spent vast sums of money on signings since last summer and their primary focus has been the defence.
They have brought in Kalidou Koulibaly, Benoit Badiashile, Marc Cucurella and Wesley Fofana in the space of eight months.
Despite this, the club are still focusing on bolstering the backline. It is claimed that Scalvini is the next player on their radar.
The 19-year-old has established himself as a regular starter for Atalanta in the last year and he is now on high demand.
Chelsea are keen on landing the highly-rated centre-back but are not alone with Bayern Munich, Liverpool and Manchester City also keen.
Atalanta are open to parting ways with the Italian sensation this summer if any club meets their valuation of €40 million.
Aside from a centre-back, Chelsea are reportedly aiming to land another midfielder and a world-class striker this summer.
