The north London giants have been constantly linked with the Serbian over the years and the speculation has not ceased.

It is now reported that Milinkovic-Savic has decided to leave Lazio and has no plans of signing a new deal with them.

The midfielder\'s contract expires at the end of next season and it is claimed that Lazio could sell him for £35m this summer.

The Gunners are understood to be keeping tabs on his situation and they could make an approach in the next transfer window.

Arsenal currently have Granit Xhaka as the regular number eight but manager Mikel Arteta may want a solid upgrade.

Milinkovic-Savic could be a quality addition to the ranks as he is a few years younger and possesses better creative skills.

The Serbian is also better in terms of winning duels and tackles. He could be a shrewd signing for the Premier League leaders.
