Predicted Man Utd line-up (4-2-3-1) vs Arsenal, Hojlund starts

03 September 2023 - 15:10

Manchester United will face Arsenal in today's Premier League clash at the Emirates Stadium.

  • Dutch star undergoing his medical at Chelsea
  • Chelsea poised to make bid for Man Utd winger

  • The Red Devils secured a stunning 3-2 comeback win over Nottingham Forest at home last weekend and will be aiming to carry the momentum into the Gunners clash.

    Predicted Line-up:

Andre Onana has played every minute of the top-flight campaign. He has not been error-free but his distribution has been top-notch. He should start between the sticks today.

In front of him, we anticipate two changes. Raphael Varane is obviously injured which could see Victor Lindelof partner Lisandro Martinez in the central defensive department.

Aaron Wan-Bissaka is expected to continue in the right-back role, but Diogo Dalot may drop to the bench for a specialist left-back in Sergio Reguilon, who joined on loan on deadline day.

In midfield, no changes are expected. Casemiro, Bruno Fernandes and Christian Eriksen are destined to start. Fernandes will operate higher up the field in his preferred number 10 position.

Further forward, Antony and Marcus Rashford are assured to keep their places. Rasmus Hojlund could lead the line on his debut, having fully recovered from a back injury in pre-season.

Predicted Man Utd line-up (4-2-3-1): Onana; Wan-Bissaka, Lindelof, Martinez, Reguilon; Casemiro, Eriksen; Antony, Fernandes, Rashford; Hojlund.
