Wigan to bid for Kapo

Wigan boss Steve Bruce is considering a raid on his old club Birmingham in his search for new players for next season. Olivier Kapo has emerged as a target for Bruce.

Bruce is reportedly ready to offer £3 million to land the Frenchman, and now the player's club Birmingham have been relegated from the Premiership, a transfer fee release clause has been activated in his contract.



Kapo was, at times, one of the few beacons of light in a Birmingham side that failed miserably this year.



Bruce is a big admirer of the player and is hopeful of pushing through a deal for the player shortly.
