Bolton back in for Elmander

Bolton back in for Elmander

14 May 2008 - 16:15

Bolton are preparing their search for a long-term successor for El-Hadj Diouf and reports suggest that Gary Megson is set to make another move for Johan Elmander.

  • Chelsea make first move to sign Bournemouth star
  • Atletico Madrid planning shock move for Chelsea star
  • The Swedish midfielder has been impressive in his time at Toulouse and several of Europe's biggest sides have been monitoring his progress.

Bolton have yet to even replace Nicolas Anelka, who left the club in January, and Elmander is seen as an adequate replacement.

Elmander is valued at around £20 million by his club, but Bolton are believed to be willing to pay around £5 million only for the Swede.
